Schedule at a Glance

The programme includes 5 keynote lectures, 6 oral presentation sessions with 3 parallel tracks, and 5 poster sessions. The event takes place over three days, with activities scheduled for the mornings and afternoons, and a Gala Dinner on the evening of Day 2.
Specifically:

  • Keynote Lectures: Each is 45 minutes long, including time for questions. Keynote sessions are distributed across the three days of the conference, with one or two each day.
  • Invited Presentations: Each Special Session will accommodate 1 or 2 invited presentations of 30 minutes (typically 20-25 minutes for the talk and 5-10 minutes for Q&A), which will run in parallel with the regular sessions. In addition within the Special Sessions further 2 to 4 regular Oral Presentations.
  • Oral Presentations: These are organised into 6 sessions, with 3 parallel tracks running simultaneously. Each session includes 6 presentations of 15 minutes each (typically 12 minutes for the talk and 3 minutes for Q&A), making a total of 108 oral presentations throughout the conference. A computer will be available in each room for presenters, though personal laptops may also be used.
  • Poster Presentations: These display 20-30 posters and are scheduled for one hour. There are 5 such sessions in total. Posters should follow the A1 format and we recommend printing your poster before travelling. Posters are to be mounted in the morning and remain on display throughout the day to encourage interaction during breaks as well as during designated sessions.
  • Breaks and Main Activities: There are two to three 30-minute breaks each day, allowing time for informal discussions and networking. The main activities span approximately 2.5 hours in both the morning and the afternoon. Lunch is provided each day. A Gala Dinner is scheduled for the evening of Day 2, and concluding remarks will be delivered at the end of Day 3.
